CANI EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO MOVE ON

CANI(Community Action of Northeast Indiana) Executive Director announces his retirement in April 2010, following a 33-year career with the agency.

Conrad has led the organization as the Executive Director for the last 30 years, so his leave his bittersweet.

“It has been an incredible journey,” Conrad said. “I have seen this organization mature from a small, struggling band of dedicated people into the busy vital powerhouse of services that it is today. Along the way I have had the pleasure of working with thousands of gentle caring souls striving to make a better community for all of us.  They have taught me countless lessons.  And I am humbled to have been a part of all of that.”

The board of directors will conduct a national search to fill the position.
